Introduction to Federal Practice Seminar

The Chapter sponsored an "Introduction to Federal Practice" seminar on Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Court House. This seminar was designed to provide lawyers with the practical foundation they need in order to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and satisfied the training requirement of Local Rule 83.5.  A distinguished line-up of presenters included judges, magistrates, law clerks and representatives from the Office of the Clerk of Court.  The program also featured a walk-through of the court. Immediately following this program, participants who had satisfied the other requirements for admission were sworn in to practice before the Northern District of Ohio.
