The Evolution of Computer Assisted Review – Past, Present and Future

Course Description:  This course is an overview of the evolution of computer assisted review from a technological, case law and practical use stand point.  We will provide a brief history of the debate between the “gold standard” of manual linear review and more technology driven approaches to tackling the exponentially larger document populations of today.  We will highlight the public statements and case law from the Judiciary that have had an impact on the acceptance of computer assisted review technologies.  Our Panelists will share their real world experiences in working with different analytic and computer assisted review solutions and will delve into best practices formulated in working on live cases with these various tools.  Finally, we will look to the future and where we see the use of these technologies and workflows ultimately evolving within our overall litigation management best practices.  Case studies are included throughout the discussion, and there will be time for questions and answers.

Join speakers Barbara Bennett of Stout Risius Ross, Brett Burney of Burney Consultants LLC, Stephen Goldstein of Squire Sanders LLP and Jay Leib of kCura for this seminar covering the latest information on The Evolution of Computer Assisted Review.
