Brief Advice and Referral Clinic
The Brief Advice and Referral Clinic provides Cleveland area residents an opportunity to discuss their civil legal problems with a volunteer attorney. Residents receive general advice, information or referral to a variety of community resources which are available to assist residents in dealing with their legal issues. Lawyers need not have any prior experience. A brief orientation will be held at the beginning of the clinic.
If you are interested in doing pro bono work, but unable to take on a long term service commitment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. The Brief Advice and Referral Clinic provides a safe, convenient and well organized opportunity for you to volunteer and make a difference for people in our community who do not have the resources to pay for legal advice. The commitment involves only 4 hours of your time. No prior training is required. Attorneys, law clerks and students are all welcome.
